After spending eight years in Los Angeles, Derek developed his craft while working alongside accomplished artists, producers, engineers, and songwriters throughout the music industry. His experience spans studio recording, vocal production, mixing, live sound, event production, and advanced audio technology.

Derek's professional contributions include work involving artists such as Kanye West, French Montana, Ciara, Lil Baby, Trippie Redd, Rubi Rose, Stunna Girl, Swae Lee, Onyx, D-Block Europe, Lola Brooke, Darren Waller, ATL Jacob, acclaimed songwriter Derrick Milano, and many others. His experience includes projects that have contributed to music featured on the Madden NFL 25 soundtrack, showcasing his ability to deliver professional-quality audio in competitive creative environments.

Beyond the studio, Derek has provided audio support for major live experiences and organizations, including working alongside the United States Navy for the Returned Warrior Workshop conferences in Charleston and Hilton Head, South Carolina. He has also worked with Black & White Productions on prestigious Entrepreneur Of The Year award ceremonies throughout the Washington, D.C. and Virginia region.
